Lion Billy Romm is in Florida working on plans for the Long Beach/Florida Reunion, which is on Sunday, January 18th.  So far, over 100 people have called to say they are coming!  This year the reunion will be held at Burt & Max’s Restaurant at the Delray Marketplace, West Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach (Just West of Florida Turnpike), from 11:30AM – 3PM.  Long Beach resident Burt Rapoport (Class of ’67) will be our gracious host at his well-known restaurant. Billy gave us this info:  $15 Lions Fundraiser Admission…BBQ luncheon on the patio…Restaurant available if you wish to order off the menu…Cash Bar…Live Music…Raffles…Super Bowl Pool…Free Parking (or valet).  If you plan on going & haven’t done so yet, please call Billy at Billy’s Beach Café, 516-889-2233 & leave your name with whomever answers the phone…..  And spread the word!  With this change in location from Fort Lauderdale to Delray Beach, there may be former Long Beach people who would be able to come now!
